Quotr, a US-based construction technology company, has raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by Llama Ventures, with participation from strategic angel investors.
The company develops an AI-powered preconstruction platform that brings quantity takeoff, cost estimating, bidding and procurement into a single workflow. Contractors can upload PDF or image-based plan sets, which the platform processes to identify quantities, prepare priced estimates and generate proposals. Quotr also provides managed estimating services for teams that prefer to outsource the process.
Quotr is led by co-founders Hanyang Liu, CEO, and Junzhe Shi, CTO. Its platform is designed for developers, general contractors and subcontractors working across residential, multifamily and commercial construction projects.
The company said the new capital will support expanded enterprise deployments, growth of its supplier network and further development of the platform. Quotr also plans to deepen its enterprise capabilities and expand into heavy industrial and mission-critical construction.
Quotr said its estimating workflows have supported construction projects representing more than $1.2 billion in cumulative project value. The company also reports that customers have reduced quantity takeoff time by as much as 80%.
The round was announced on September 30, 2026. Llama Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on AI and software companies, lists Quotr among its portfolio companies.
