Factory branding for the AI software development company following Menlo Ventures' investment.
Menlo Ventures has joined Factory's latest financing, adding the venture firm to the AI software development company's $200 million funding round announced in September.

Factory has added Menlo Ventures as an investor in its latest financing. Menlo said it joined the financing announced by Factory in September 2026, when the company raised $200 million at a $5 billion valuation. The amount invested by Menlo Ventures was not disclosed.

Founded in 2023 by Matan Grinberg and Eno Reyes, San Francisco-based Factory develops AI agents for enterprise software engineering. Its platform is designed to automate work across the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing and deployment.

Factory’s platform extends beyond code generation into areas including planning, code review, testing, security and documentation. The company has also built the platform around model independence and enterprise controls, allowing organizations to govern how autonomous software development workflows operate.

The September financing brought Factory’s total funding to more than $400 million. The company said the capital would support further investment in research, product development and global go-to-market operations. Menlo said Factory’s platform is used by hundreds of thousands of developers, including teams at enterprises such as Nvidia and Blackstone.
