Hadrian has raised $40 million in a funding round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin. Existing investors HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures also participated in the financing. The company said the round brings its total funding to $65 million.
The Amsterdam-based cybersecurity startup plans to use the new capital to expand across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the United States, while increasing investment in its engineering and research teams.
Hadrian develops an agentic AI offensive security platform designed to help enterprise security teams discover internet-facing assets, identify exposures and determine which vulnerabilities can actually be exploited. Its technology applies automated offensive testing to continuously assess an organisation’s external attack surface.
The platform includes Atlas and Nova. Atlas continuously maps external attack surfaces and uses specialised AI agents to validate exploitable exposures. Nova provides on-demand agentic penetration testing for web applications, APIs and other external environments, with findings designed to support remediation and security assessment workflows.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2021, Hadrian operates from locations including Amsterdam, London and New York. The company’s primary headquarters is listed in Amsterdam, and Hadrian Security B.V. is registered in the Netherlands.
Hadrian says its security technology is used by more than 300 enterprises worldwide. Customers identified by the company include McKesson, NBCUniversal, TotalEnergies, Amadeus, Leroy Merlin and Damen Shipyards.
