Hamburg-based Procuros has raised €20 million in a Series A funding round led by XAnge. W23 Global joined as a new investor, while existing backers Point Nine, Creandum and b2venture also participated in the round.

Founded in Hamburg in 2021 by Patrick Thelen and Benjamin Bradford, Procuros develops software infrastructure for connecting suppliers, retailers and other trading partners. Its platform allows companies to connect their internal systems once and exchange transaction data with multiple partners despite differences in software, data formats and technical setups.

The platform supports workflows including purchase orders, order responses, shipping notices and invoices, with data flowing directly between trading partners and ERP systems. Procuros also uses AI-based document processing and is developing its infrastructure to support greater automation across B2B supply chain transactions.

Procuros says more than 300 companies use its platform, including Breuninger, Chefs Culinar, KoRo, flaconi, The Quality Group and Hitschler. More than €3 billion in annualised order volume is reported to flow through its network. The Series A follows a €1 million pre-seed round in 2021 and a $9 million seed round in 2022, equivalent to about €8.3 million at the time.

The seed round was led by Point Nine and Creandum, with participation from Paua Ventures, b2venture’s predecessor btov Partners, and angel investors.

Procuros plans to use the new capital to expand its go-to-market operations, develop its AI-native supply chain infrastructure and support further international expansion across Europe and the United States.
