Vitalize has raised $31 million in a Series A round led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from Norwest, .406 Ventures, Constellation Ventures, Y Combinator, Rock Health Capital and MemorialCare Innovation Fund.

The San Francisco-based company develops healthcare operations software that helps health systems manage labor and capacity. Its platform supports workforce scheduling and capacity planning across inpatient, ancillary and ambulatory care settings and integrates with electronic medical record and time-and-payroll systems.

Vitalize plans to use the new funding to expand its growth and deployment teams and invest in AI models focused on patient throughput optimization.
