Bengaluru-based fintech startup Credfix has raised ₹16.1 crore (approximately $1.66 million) in a seed funding round led by Tanglin Venture Partners, with participation from Stargazer. The funding will support the company’s development of AI-powered debt resolution services for borrowers across India.
Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni and Ayush Kedia, Credfix provides financial recovery services to individuals facing loan repayment difficulties. Its platform helps borrowers understand outstanding debts, assess repayment and settlement options, manage interactions with lenders and recovery agents, and respond to legal notices.
The startup offers three AI-powered tools. Risi is a financial assistant that helps borrowers understand their obligations and explore debt resolution options. Neytra is an AI call shield designed to manage recovery-related calls and provide summaries of interactions. An AI legal assistant helps users interpret legal notices and identify possible next steps.
According to the company, Credfix has supported more than 200,000 borrowers representing over ₹4,000 crore in aggregate outstanding debt. Approximately 40% of its users are based in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Credfix plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development, strengthen its AI capabilities and expand its borrower support infrastructure nationwide.
Before this round, the company had raised ₹4.5 crore from K2 Capital, Invstt Trust and angel investors.
