Paris-based consumer intelligence startup Verso has raised $6 million in seed funding led by Angular Ventures. The round included participation from 100in, Kima Ventures, Olympe Capital, Sharpstone Capital and a group of angel investors. The company is also backed by startup studio Hexa.
Founded in 2025 by Lydia Bellahouel and Camille Epitalon, Verso develops an AI-powered platform that helps businesses conduct consumer research and make insights available across their organisations.
The platform manages the research process, including study design, participant recruitment, AI-moderated video and voice interviews, and automated analysis. Its AI interviewers can adjust questions based on participants’ responses, while the resulting information is organised into a searchable consumer knowledge base.
Verso also develops dynamic consumer personas that are updated as new research is conducted. This allows businesses to revisit previous findings, compare consumer segments and examine changes in preferences and behaviour over time.
According to the company’s fundraising announcement, its platform is used by more than 30 businesses, including Ferrero, Orange and Michelin.
The new funding will support further product development, including the integration of additional consumer data sources such as quantitative research and social listening. Verso also plans to develop interfaces that allow AI agents to access its consumer intelligence system.
The company intends to expand internationally, with the United States identified as a target market, and increase hiring across engineering and go-to-market functions.
