Reach Security, a San Francisco-based cybersecurity startup, has raised more than $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Top Tier Capital Partners. The round included participation from Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12 (Microsoft’s venture fund), and existing investors. The company announced the financing on October 13, 2026.

Founded in 2021 by Garrett Hamilton and Colt Blackmore, Reach Security develops an AI-powered platform that helps enterprises manage and improve their existing cybersecurity defenses. Hamilton serves as CEO, while Blackmore is the company’s CTO.

The platform analyzes the configurations of an organization’s security products to identify misconfigurations, ineffective controls and potential attack paths. It determines whether existing defenses can block specific threats, identifies the rules affecting protection and supports remediation when security configurations change or become ineffective.

Alongside the funding announcement, Reach Security introduced Reach Everywhere, an integration framework that makes security control information available across enterprise workflows, third-party platforms, APIs and AI systems. The offering is intended to help security teams assess and address exposures using the tools they already operate.

The company plans to use the new capital for product development, expanded technology integrations, international expansion and further growth in the US enterprise and federal markets.

Reach Security reported that its customer base doubled over the preceding 12 months. Its customers include Autodesk, Insurity, MPS and Ensemble Health Partners.

The Series B follows a $20 million Series A financing announced in March 2024, led by Ballistic Ventures with participation from Artisanal Ventures and other investors.
