HyImpulse has secured more than €50 million in Series A extension equity to advance its SR75 and SL1 launch systems and expand commercial operations.

HyImpulse Technologies has raised more than €50 million in equity through a Series A extension co-led by JOIN Capital and Ace Capital Partners. New investors in the round include North Ventures, BW-Capital, Bayern Kapital and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), while existing shareholder Campus Founders Ventures also participated.

The financing will support the development and commercialization of HyImpulse’s launch services, including preparations for another flight of its SR75 suborbital rocket from SaxaVord Spaceport in Scotland and the development of its SL1 orbital launch vehicle. The company also plans to expand production capacity and scale its commercial operations.

Founded in 2018, HyImpulse is based in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Germany. Its founding team comprises Christian Schmierer, Mario Kobald, Konstantin Tomilin and Ulrich Fischer.

HyImpulse develops suborbital and orbital launch systems using hybrid propulsion technology based on paraffin fuel and liquid oxygen. Its SR75 rocket completed its maiden flight from the Koonibba Test Range in Australia in May 2024, while the company is developing the SL1 as an orbital small-satellite launcher.

HyImpulse previously announced €15 million in Series A equity financing in 2025 alongside approximately €30 million in public funding. Following the latest extension, the company said its combined equity and public funding has exceeded €125 million.
