Vienna-based construction technology startup reebuild raised €3 million in a seed funding round led by Fortino Ventures, with participation from Rise PropTech and CuriosityVC. The funding was announced on October 13, 2026, and will support the company’s European expansion and further development of its AI-powered software platform.
Founded in 2022, reebuild develops software that automates administrative and financial processes for construction companies and property developers. The company is led by founder and CEO Alexander Kornell, with Matteo Cimadom serving as Chief Revenue Officer and Luca Papay as Chief Technology Officer.
reebuild’s platform uses artificial intelligence to process invoices, delivery notes, order confirmations and other construction-related documents. It converts information from PDFs, photographs, scans and electronic invoices into structured data, enabling automated document matching, invoice checks, project cost management and material tracking. The software also supports approval workflows, allowing employees to retain control over financial decisions while reducing manual administrative tasks.
According to the company, its platform serves more than 120 construction companies and property developers across over 8,200 construction sites and projects. It has processed more than 345,000 documents and handles invoice volumes exceeding €530 million. Its customers include Pittel+Brausewetter, 3SI Immogroup, Rödl & Herdegen and Kratzert Gruppe.
The new capital will be allocated to expanding reebuild’s operations beyond Austria and Germany into additional European markets. The company also plans to develop new AI-native modules covering commercial workflows from project calculation through accounting and to expand its engineering and product teams at its Vienna headquarters.
