Lasso Security has raised $30 million in a funding round led by ClearSky, with participation from Entrée Capital, iAngels, Singtel Innov8, Mindset and Swish Data. The company plans to use the capital to expand its engineering operations, deepen its work with federal and regulated-industry customers, and grow its go-to-market presence in North America and Europe.

Founded in 2023, Lasso Security was established by Elad Schulman, Lior Ziv, Ophir Dror and Yuval Abadi. The Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup develops technology designed to help organizations secure AI models, agents and applications through capabilities including observability, governance and real-time protection.

Its platform includes LEAP, a transformer-free AI guardrail designed to operate on standard CPUs, and RAPID, a self-hosted model used for more complex policy decisions. Lasso said its technology is deployed across global enterprises and the US federal government.

Lasso previously announced a $6 million seed round in November 2023 led by Entrée Capital, with participation from Samsung Next.
