iPronics has raised $125 million in Series B funding co-led by Maverick Silicon and Light Street Capital to expand its silicon photonics-based optical networking technology for AI data centers. NVIDIA joined the round, alongside Triatomic Capital, Bosch Ventures, Catalight Capital, the European Innovation Council Fund, The Tate Family Trust, Fine Structure Ventures, Amadeus Capital Partners, Build Collective and Criteria Venture Tech.
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain-based iPronics is led by CEO Christian Dupont and founder and CTO Dr. Daniel Pérez-López. The company develops optical circuit switching technology designed for AI infrastructure.
Its flagship iPronics Optical Networking Engine, or ONE, is a rack-mounted optical switch built on silicon photonics. The system combines programmable optical connectivity with integrated control, telemetry and APIs, allowing AI clusters to dynamically reconfigure connections for training and inference workloads.
iPronics plans to use the Series B capital to scale operations and accelerate commercial deployments. The company has also opened an office in Santa Clara, California, as it expands customer deployments and AI infrastructure partnerships in the United States.
The financing brings iPronics’ total funding to $177 million, according to the company.
