HiddenLayer, an Austin, Texas-based AI security startup, has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Delta-v Capital. Ten Eleven Ventures, Morgan Stanley, M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund, and Booz Allen Ventures also participated in the financing.

Founded in 2022 by Chris Sestito, Tanner Burns and Jim Ballard, HiddenLayer develops cybersecurity technology designed specifically for AI systems. Its platform covers areas including AI discovery, supply chain security, attack simulation and runtime protection for agentic, generative and predictive AI applications.

The company plans to use the Series B capital to expand its enterprise platform, including its Agentic Runtime Security capabilities and Agent Harness Security, which is designed to protect AI coding agents while they operate. HiddenLayer also plans to deepen channel relationships and expand internationally, beginning with Europe and the wider EMEA region.

HiddenLayer said its annual recurring revenue grew more than tenfold over the past year and that it added more than 50 new platform customers. The company serves organizations across sectors including financial services, government, technology, pharmaceuticals and the US defense and intelligence communities.

The Series B follows a $50 million Series A announced in September 2023, led by M12 and Moore Strategic Ventures. HiddenLayer had previously raised $6 million in seed funding when it emerged from stealth in 2022.
