New York-based Beagle Labs has secured $4.1 million in pre-seed funding led by Chingona Ventures to expand its property intelligence platform for commercial insurance underwriting.

Beagle Labs has raised $4.1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Chingona Ventures. Sovereign’s Capital, Remarkable Ventures, C2 Ventures, South Loop Ventures and Red Bike Capital also participated in the financing.

Founded in 2022, New York-based Beagle Labs develops property intelligence technology for commercial insurance underwriting. The company was founded by Dwight Neptune, Luis Guzman, Keelan Gayle and Josie Madingo. Its platform combines field inspections with AI-based analysis to provide property and liability risk data to insurance carriers, managing general agents, managing general underwriters and other insurance organisations.

Beagle Labs says its platform works with a nationwide network of more than 7,000 verified field inspectors and can complete in-field inspection orders in 14 days or less. The company said the technology was developed and tested over three years before being brought to market in 2026, and is being used by insurance carriers, MGA/MGUs and wholesale brokerages across commercial property and excess and surplus lines.

The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate platform development, expand its AI agents, strengthen customer support and grow its team.
