Kahua has secured a minority growth investment from Bain Capital Tech Opportunities at a valuation above $1 billion. The investment is intended to support further development of the company’s AI and software products, alongside go-to-market, customer success and talent initiatives.

Founded in 2009 by Scott Unger and Brian Moore, Kahua is headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The company provides an AI enterprise construction platform for organizations managing complex capital programs. Its software connects project stakeholders, processes and data across planning, construction and the broader asset lifecycle.

Kahua said it has reached $100 million in annualized revenue and serves more than 2,500 customers. The company’s platform supports more than $400 billion in capital programs across sectors including government, transportation, healthcare, education, energy and digital infrastructure.

The investment gives Bain Capital Tech Opportunities a minority position in Kahua as the construction technology company continues expanding its AI capabilities and product offering.
