Armadin has raised $255.5 million in Series B funding co-led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Accel. New investors Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint participated alongside existing backers 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins and Menlo Ventures. The financing values the company at more than $2.5 billion and brings its total funding to $445 million.
Based in Palo Alto, California, Armadin was founded by Kevin Mandia, Travis Lanham, Evan Peña and David Slater. Mandia serves as CEO, Lanham as CTO, Peña as Chief Offensive Security Officer and Slater as Chief Architect.
Armadin develops an AI-native offensive cybersecurity platform that uses autonomous AI agents to test enterprise attack surfaces and connect separate weaknesses into validated attack paths. The approach is designed to show security teams how an attacker could move through an environment so exploitable paths can be addressed before they are used by an adversary.
The company says it is running agentic attack campaigns in production for Fortune 500 enterprises and government customers. Armadin plans to use the new capital to scale its agentic security platform and expand its research, training and go-to-market efforts.
The Series B follows Armadin’s $189.9 million Seed and Series A financing announced in March 2026.
