Pandektes legal research platform representing the Copenhagen-based company's €13.5 million Series A funding announcement.
Copenhagen-based legal technology company Pandektes has secured €13.5 million in Series A funding led by Alstin Capital, with PROfounders Capital and Scale Capital participating.

Pandektes, a Copenhagen-based legal technology company, has raised €13.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Alstin Capital. PROfounders Capital, Scale Capital and a syndicate of returning early-stage investors also participated in the round.

Pandektes is co-founded by CEO Casper Laursen and CTO/CPO Søren Brokær. The company develops software for legal research, combining artificial intelligence with legal databases and search tools for law firms, corporate legal teams and public-sector organisations.

Its platform brings public and proprietary legal sources into a unified research environment and supports cross-jurisdictional research. Pandektes also offers API infrastructure that allows developers and organisations to integrate legal sources and intelligence into their own applications.

The company plans to use the Series A capital to expand its machine learning research and data engineering teams, improve the processing of legal data across jurisdictions and grow its developer ecosystem.

Pandektes previously raised €2.9 million in a seed round led by People Ventures and Interface Capital in February 2025. The company said at the time that the financing would support product development and expansion of its legal research platform across European jurisdictions.
