London-based MintNeuro has raised $5 million in an investment round led by Odyssey Ventures. The round included participation from 33East, JSK Investments and Alumni Ventures, alongside returning investment from Empirical Ventures, Jumpspace Ventures and existing early investors. The financing was announced on October 7, 2026.
MintNeuro was formed in 2022 as an Imperial College London spinout. The company develops specialised semiconductor chips for neural devices, including implants, wearables and brain-computer interfaces. Its modular platform supports functions including neural signal acquisition, electrical stimulation, on-chip signal processing, power management and wireless data transfer.
The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product launches, increase delivery of pre-release silicon to partners, expand its engineering and commercial teams, support customer adoption and strengthen its presence in the US and other international markets.
MintNeuro has delivered working silicon and is working with research and development partners including Motif Neurotech and Amber Therapeutics. Earlier in 2026, MintNeuro and Motif announced a partnership backed by a multi-year commercial supply agreement covering MintNeuro neural-interface chips for Motif’s development programmes.
In November 2024, MintNeuro raised £1 million in an earlier investment round led by Empirical Ventures, with additional investment from Parkwalk Advisors through the Imperial College Enterprise Fund, Imperial College London, Plug and Play, Excellis Holding and angel investors.
