PlannerPal has raised £4.3 million in a seed round led by Mercia Ventures. Existing investor Ada Ventures also participated, alongside strategic fintech investors and angels.
The UK fintech develops an AI workflow platform for financial advice and wealth management firms. Its software connects client conversations, documents and CRM data, helping firms automate meeting capture, generate documentation and update client records across their core systems.
PlannerPal integrates with financial advice platforms including Iress Xplan, Intelliflo, Plannr and Curo, as well as workplace tools including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and SharePoint. PlannerPal was also the first company to join the Iress Partnership, which provides deeper integration with the Xplan platform.
CEO and co-founder Mark Whitcroft leads PlannerPal, which he co-founded with Shoomon Perry. More than 250 UK advice firms use the platform, with customers collectively responsible for approximately £150 billion in client assets.
PlannerPal plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering and product teams, support customer rollout and accelerate the development of its client intelligence capabilities.
