TeddyHoldings.AI, also known as Teddy AI, has raised $60 million in Seed funding for its New York-based compliance and legal services platform. Axios reported that Grafton Street Partners was an anchor investor in the round. The company has not disclosed its broader cap table, saying its backers include traditional limited partners, an endowment manager and repeat partners.
Incubated by Tucker’s Farm Corporation, Teddy AI is focused on compliance and client-oriented legal services. Axios reported that the company is pursuing a rollup strategy involving the back-office operations of more than a dozen law firms providing niche business-to-business services. The model is designed to consolidate administrative functions while using technology and AI where they can support compliance, client service and operational performance.
The company said it generated about $115 million of equity interest during a three-week fundraising process before closing the Seed round at $60 million. Teddy AI also said it passed $25 million in business-to-business revenue during 2026.
