London-based Cori Clinical has raised $4 million in Seed funding led by Breega to expand its AI-guided platform for clinical trial design and setup.

Cori Clinical, a London-based startup developing AI software for clinical trial design and setup, has raised $4 million in Seed funding. The round was led by Breega, with participation from Enzo, Heartfelt, Together Ventures and Bynd.

The company is led by co-founders Jorn Jansen Schoonhoven, CEO, and Patricio Fernandez Weisson, CTO. Cori Clinical is registered in England and Wales and operates from London.

Cori Clinical provides an AI-guided workspace for sponsors and contract research organisations managing clinical trials. Its platform brings together an organisation’s previous trial knowledge with external sources including trial registries and regulatory guidance, creating a shared record that connects study design, protocols, submission packages, budgets and operational plans.

The platform is designed to help clinical teams move from an initial trial brief to protocols, regulatory packages and operational plans while keeping changes across trial documents and decisions connected. Cori says its regulatory intelligence incorporates guidance from bodies including the FDA, EMA, MHRA and ICH.

The company plans to use the Seed funding to expand its delivery capacity, deepen the regulatory and clinical intelligence within its platform and support growth across its clinical, engineering and commercial teams.
