London-based IMMIX has raised $3.5 million in funding from Crane Venture Partners, BTSE and Portfolio Ventures. The company plans to use the capital to further develop its pricing engine, expand available liquidity and grow its partner distribution network.
Founded in 2019 by Dr Andrew Mann and Dr David Twomey, IMMIX builds foreign exchange infrastructure for stablecoin payments, with a particular focus on currencies beyond the US dollar. Its platform combines AI-powered pricing with institutional liquidity infrastructure to price and execute stablecoin conversions for payment companies, stablecoin issuers and trading venues.
IMMIX said its deep-learning models forecast market conditions across thousands of instruments and that its systems have processed more than $25 billion in customer trading volume since 2024. Partners can access its liquidity through channels including request-for-quote and API-based pricing, as well as public trading venues.
The company previously raised $2.7 million in seed funding in 2023, led by MassMutual Ventures. MassMutual Ventures lists Ripple as a co-investor in IMMIX.
