Innercrowd, a Netherlands-based marketing technology startup, has raised €750,000 in funding from a group of investors, including entrepreneur Hans Scheffer. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate its international expansion across Europe.
Founded in 2024 by Benjamin Havenaar, CEO, and Job Vink, CTO, Innercrowd is headquartered in The Hague. The company develops a fan engagement and marketing platform that helps festival organisers convert existing audience loyalty into ticket sales, referrals and promotional activity.
The platform combines customer data management, email marketing, WhatsApp-based ticket purchasing and ambassador programmes. Fans registering for presales or early-bird campaigns can purchase tickets through WhatsApp, while AI agents support personalised conversations, answer questions and assist potential buyers throughout the purchasing process.
Innercrowd also enables festival attendees to become brand ambassadors by sharing event content, promoting line-ups, referring friends and encouraging ticket purchases within their networks. Organisers can track these activities and incorporate fan-generated content into their marketing campaigns.
According to the company, its platform has supported more than 100 event organisers, including Verknipt, Soenda Festival and REBiRTH, and facilitated approximately €12.7 million in revenue for organisers. Innercrowd also reported that nearly 32,000 active ambassadors had collectively completed more than 740,000 marketing activities.
The company says its campaigns achieve conversion rates averaging 50% higher than traditional email-based presale campaigns.
Innercrowd already serves customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria and Poland. The latest investment will support its efforts to expand its presence in additional European markets as festival organisers seek ways to engage audiences earlier in the ticket sales cycle
