Ahmedabad-based pet nutrition startup TailBlaze Longevity has raised $300,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based venture capital firm Comma Capital. The company plans to use the capital to introduce its HeartPour wet dog food range, expand its team and strengthen distribution across India.
Co-founded by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, TailBlaze focuses on developing nutritional products for dogs, particularly high-protein, lower-carbohydrate formulations designed to support canine health and longevity.
Its HeartPour product line combines protein-rich ingredients and superfoods with an Ayurveda-inspired PanchTatva blend containing curcumin, black pepper, parsley, amla and tulsi. The company says the formulation follows four years of research and development.
TailBlaze has also developed FreshTail, a proprietary food manufacturing process designed to produce shelf-stable fresh meals without continuous refrigeration.
Beyond HeartPour, the company offers pet food, natural treats, grooming products and accessories. It operates a WhatsApp-first commerce model and has reported sales through quick-commerce platforms including Blinkit and BBNow.
As part of its HeartPour rollout, TailBlaze plans to provide complimentary servings to the first 500 dogs participating in the launch offer.
