LyteVision perception platform developed by Lyte for robotics and physical AI applications.
Physical AI perception company Lyte has secured $165 million in Series C funding led by Maverick Silicon to scale its robotics perception platform.

Lyte has raised $165 million in a Series C financing led by Maverick Silicon, valuing the physical AI perception company at $1.6 billion post-money. Fidelity Management & Research Company, Atreides Management, Key1 Capital and Ora Global also participated alongside other existing and new investors.

Founded in 2021 by Alexander Shpunt, Arman Hajati and Yuval Gerson, Lyte develops perception technology for robotics and autonomous systems. The Sunnyvale, California-based company builds custom silicon, multimodal sensors and spatial software designed to give machines a real-time view of their physical environment.

Its LyteVision platform combines 4D coherent vision, high-resolution imaging and inertial sensing on a synchronized timeline. The company says the platform is in production and is being shipped to robotics customers in inspection, logistics and manufacturing. LyteVision was also named CES 2026 Best of Innovation in Robotics.

Lyte plans to use the financing to scale production of its sensing silicon and LyteVision platform, advance its AI and perception capabilities, expand deployments with robotics and industrial customers, and increase hiring across engineering, manufacturing, operations and commercial functions. Andrew Homan, managing partner at Maverick Silicon, has joined Lyte’s board as part of the financing.

The Series C brings Lyte’s total capital raised since its founding to $272 million. The company had previously disclosed $107 million in aggregate funding when it emerged from stealth in January 2026.
