Corridor, a US startup building an AI-enabled health benefits brokerage for small businesses, raised $16 million in seed funding led by Bain Capital Ventures. The financing followed an earlier $9 million pre-seed round, bringing the company’s total funding to $25 million.

BoxGroup and Definition Capital also participated in the seed financing, alongside angel investors. Corridor’s own launch announcement described the company as launching with $25 million in funding led by Bain Capital Ventures, reflecting the combined capital raised across its early financing.

Corridor was founded by Nikhil Aggarwal, Jason Dong, Jackson Wagner and Eric Qian. The company combines licensed benefits advisors with AI agents designed to handle administrative work including gathering insurance quotes, comparing plans, preparing proposals, supporting enrollment and coordinating with insurance carriers.

The brokerage focuses on small businesses, aiming to automate operational work while keeping human advisors responsible for benefits guidance and customer relationships. Corridor’s website describes the company as a health insurance brokerage that helps small businesses offer benefits, manage enrollment and support employees.
