Monetary Metals, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based financial technology company focused on gold-denominated investment and financing products, has raised $10.5 million in its latest equity financing. The raise exceeded the company’s initial $10 million target and included investment from existing and new shareholders.
The company said the new capital will support further development and growth of its Gold Yield Marketplace. The financing brings the total amount raised by Monetary Metals to nearly $25 million.
Founded in 2012 by Keith Weiner, Monetary Metals operates a marketplace that connects owners of gold and silver with precious metals businesses seeking metal-denominated financing. Its offerings include gold leases and gold bonds, through which investors can earn returns paid in precious metals.
Monetary Metals previously completed a $5.6 million private placement in July 2024, which brought its total equity raised at that time to more than $14 million. The company was also ranked No. 408 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list.
