CellsBin, a Branford, Connecticut-based biotechnology company, closed a Series A financing led by 108 BioCapital. The company did not disclose the size of the round. The financing was announced on September 22, 2026.
CellsBin said the proceeds will support commercialization, strategic partnerships, product development, clinical evidence and the expansion of its clinical and technical capabilities.
The company develops a rare-cell analysis platform for precision medicine. Its Rare-Cell Intelligence Platform combines microfluidics, multimodal imaging, single-cell analysis and AI to detect, characterize and monitor rare cells. CellsBin’s initial applications include cell and gene therapy monitoring and hematologic cancers.
CellsBin is led by co-founder and CEO Ali Kabiri, PhD. The company’s headquarters and CLIA laboratory are in Branford, Connecticut.
CellsBin has also participated in research presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting. Journal of Clinical Oncology meeting abstracts involving company researchers examined AI-driven nanophotonic imaging for natural killer cell detection and the long-term persistence and phenotypic characteristics of BCMA CAR-T cells.
