Toronto-based reproductive health company Bird&Be has raised US$13 million in a Series A financing co-led by BDC Capital’s Thrive Venture Fund and BFG Partners. BAM Ventures, Founder Collective, Rejuvenation Ventures and HSR Ventures also participated in the round.
Founded in 2021, Bird&Be was created by Samantha Diamond, co-founder and CEO, and Breanna Hughes, co-founder and COO. The company provides fertility and reproductive health supplements and at-home testing products for women and men, covering stages including conception, pregnancy and postpartum care.
Bird&Be plans to use the financing for research and clinical studies, product development, further retail expansion and growth of its clinical distribution channel.
The company expanded from 300 Ulta Beauty stores in September 2025 to nearly 1,000 stores by spring 2026. It also partnered with Mandell’s Clinical Pharmacy, a fertility specialty pharmacy licensed across all 50 US states, to extend distribution through fertility clinics and patients undergoing treatment.
