Chicago-based Go.AI has raised $85 million in a Series A funding round led by Updata Partners, with participation from existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH. The financing brings the company’s total funding to $90 million.
Founded in 2018 by David Moscatelli and Lisa Gillespie, the company began as Abacus Analytics LLP before becoming Go Abacus Corporation in 2022. It rebranded as Go.AI in September 2026. Moscatelli serves as co-founder and CEO, while Gillespie is co-founder and COO.
Go.AI develops on-premises AI infrastructure for organizations operating under strict security, data-control and compliance requirements. Its products include The Go1, an integrated hardware and software system, and Go.OS, its AI operating system. The company positions the infrastructure to run within customers’ own environments, with fixed-fee pricing rather than per-token charges.
Go.AI said it has more than 200 customers across financial services, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and manufacturing. The company said its customer deployments process more than 12.5 million queries per day, while annual recurring revenue has increased more than eightfold year over year and the business remains profitable.
The company plans to use the Series A capital to expand its engineering team, accelerate development of Go.OS and its hardware line, and scale its go-to-market operations as it targets a broader range of compliance-focused organizations.
The round follows a $5 million seed financing announced in November 2025. That round was led by GFT Ventures, with participation from BankTech Ventures and LAUNCH Fund.
