HIFI, a New York-based financial infrastructure startup focused on stablecoin payments and tokenized assets, has raised $37 million in a Series A round led by Left Lane Capital. Antler and Tether also participated in the financing.
Founded in New York in 2022 by Zach Walsh and Mohamed Afifi, HIFI provides API infrastructure that allows fintechs, financial institutions and other businesses to build products using stablecoins and tokenized money. Its platform connects money movement, compliance and settlement across traditional banking rails and digital assets through a single integration.
HIFI said it processes more than $7 billion in annualized volume. Companies using its infrastructure have onboarded more than 10,000 businesses and 200,000 individuals, while its payment infrastructure operates across 87 countries.
The company plans to use the Series A capital to obtain additional regulatory licences, expand its teams in New York and selected international markets, and extend its product offering across payments, card products and tokenized capital markets. Matthew Miller of Left Lane Capital is also joining HIFI’s board as part of the financing.
HIFI has also been expanding its institutional settlement infrastructure. The company participated in DTCC’s tokenized-asset activity in July 2026 and has worked on tokenized repo settlement. It also announced a partnership with Visa in September to support stablecoin-funded payouts through Visa Direct.
