AIR Security has emerged from stealth after raising $50 million across two seed financing rounds to develop its cybersecurity platform for AI agents. The financing comprised a $10 million round led by Sequoia Capital and a subsequent $40 million round led by Greenoaks. Swish Ventures, Netz and several angel investors also participated.

The company was founded in 2026 by Yair Saban, CEO, and Niv Hoffman, CTO. Both founders previously worked in offensive cybersecurity within Israel’s Unit 8200. AIR Security is headquartered in Tel Aviv, according to Startup Nation Central and company registry data.

AIR develops cybersecurity infrastructure designed to protect enterprise AI agents and the software components they interact with. Its platform analyzes and controls inputs entering an agent’s context, including skills, Model Context Protocol servers, plugins, websites and internal data. The system is designed to identify threats such as malicious instructions, excessive permissions, prompt injection, data exfiltration and compromised software supply chains.

The platform includes tools for discovering and governing AI agents, continuously evaluating add-ons, providing runtime protection and supplying pre-vetted add-ons through a marketplace.

AIR plans to use the new capital primarily to hire researchers and expand its go-to-market operations in the United States and Europe.
