Definedge fintech and brokerage platform representing its ₹22 crore Pre-Series A fundraising announcement.
Pune-based Definedge has raised ₹22 crore in a Pre-Series A round from existing and new investors, taking its total capital raised to ₹30 crore.

Pune-based fintech and brokerage firm Definedge Securities Broking has raised ₹22 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round, taking its total capital raised to ₹30 crore. The round included continued participation from existing investors Nitin Agarwal and D. Prasad, alongside new investors Anant Jain and Sachin Kasera.

Definedge said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its technology and product infrastructure, increase margin funding capacity, expand marketing and distribution, and accelerate product development involving AI and automation. The company also plans to strengthen low-latency execution capabilities and further develop platforms including Zone, Opstra, Algostra and Momentify.

Co-founded by Prashant Shah and Rajesh Badiye, Definedge provides trading, investing, research and investor-education tools. Its product ecosystem includes Opstra for options analytics, Zone for trading and market analysis, Algostra for algorithmic trading, Momentify for systematic investing, and Gurukul for investor education.

The company said Momentify has crossed ₹1,000 crore in assets under management and is targeting ₹5,000 crore over the next 24 months.
