Destro AI, a Brooklyn-based warehouse robotics software startup, has raised $8 million in seed funding. The round was co-led by Base10 Partners and Bonfire Ventures, with participation from CoFound Partners. The company plans to use the financing to expand deployments across enterprise warehouses and grow its engineering and research teams.
Founded in 2025, Destro develops an intelligence layer designed to coordinate robots, people and enterprise systems across warehouse operations. The company was founded by Manthan Pawar, its CEO, and Soorya Narayanan.
Destro’s platform includes MothershipOS and VisionOS. MothershipOS acts as a robot-agnostic orchestration system that monitors warehouse activity and allocates work across robots and people. VisionOS provides on-robot intelligence for tasks including product identification, perception and physical manipulation.
The company’s software is designed to work across different robotics hardware rather than requiring warehouse operators to standardise on a single robot manufacturer. Its systems coordinate workflows across robots, workers, inventory and other warehouse resources.
Destro is also working with Yusen Logistics (Americas), which announced a collaboration with the startup in August 2026 to deploy its human-robot collaboration platform for transload operations. The project is focused on coordinating warehouse teams and autonomous mobile robots within operating workflows.
