doxx.net has raised $38 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz as it launches the open beta of its Agentic Defined Networking platform.

Miami-based cybersecurity and networking startup doxx.net has raised $38 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Animo Ventures and Focal.vc. The financing was announced on October 1, 2026, alongside the launch of the open beta of the company’s Agentic Defined Networking platform.

Founded by Barrett Lyon, doxx.net is developing private networking infrastructure designed for people and AI agents. Its platform allows users and software agents to create and manage private networks, connect devices, establish networking and security rules, transfer files and communicate peer-to-peer. It also incorporates DNS-level threat protection designed to prevent connections to known malicious destinations.

Andreessen Horowitz said doxx.net has built its own global backbone with dedicated hardware, IP space, a private naming system and certificate authority. The platform is designed so users can begin using the network without providing an email address or phone number.

The company said its closed beta began in December 2025 and that its threat protection system blocked more than 38 million threats during that period. The open beta is now available to users and developers.

Andreessen Horowitz partner Joel De La Garza is also joining doxx.net’s board as part of the financing.
