Fambot, a San Francisco-based AI platform for managing family logistics, has raised $3.5 million in pre-seed funding. The round was co-led by NextView Ventures and Baukunst, with participation from Correlation Ventures, Karman Ventures and Founders Network.
The company was founded by David Reich, Greg Karlin and Jason Morrow. Fambot is designed to help parents manage information spread across school emails, newsletters, calendars, WhatsApp messages and other family communications. The platform processes those sources to create a daily plan covering events, tasks, reminders and other actions relevant to the household.
The financing announcement coincided with Fambot’s public launch. More than 1,000 families used the service during its private beta, and the company has made the product available on iOS and Android.
Fambot is positioned as a consumer AI service focused on reducing the administrative workload associated with family scheduling and coordination. Its connected sources include Gmail, Outlook, calendars and WhatsApp, allowing family-related information to be consolidated into reminders and daily summaries.
