French retail technology startup Kheops has raised €12 million in a funding round led by Odyssée Venture, with participation from ISAI and Elaia. The €12 million figure was disclosed by Kheops co-founder Caroline Poinsignon and the participating investors.

Founded in 2021 by Caroline Poinsignon and Thibault Boyeux, Kheops operates a platform designed to simplify direct commercial relationships between retail stores and suppliers. Its platform supports functions including product listing, ordering, delivery management, invoicing and payments, allowing retailers to manage products sourced outside centralised purchasing networks.

Kheops says its platform is used by more than 500 stores, connects over 3,000 suppliers and covers more than 200,000 products. The company also reported that order volumes increased fourfold and revenue tripled over the previous 12 months.

The funding will support Kheops’ expansion across France, further development of its technology and growth of its teams. The company also plans to develop AI-based assortment and automated ordering capabilities and prepare for international expansion.
