Novadip Biosciences, a Belgium-based clinical biotechnology company developing regenerative medicine therapies, has raised €10.4 million in convertible financing. The round was led by New Science Ventures, with participation from Fund+, Wallonie Entreprendre, VIVES Fund, ORSA Tech, Sambrinvest, Noshaq and Invest.BW.
The financing follows a €9.6 million convertible loan secured in 2025 and brings Novadip’s total convertible financing since June 2025 to €20 million.
Novadip plans to use the capital to advance NVD003, its lead autologous cell-based therapy, through the final stage of clinical development. The funding will support completion of the company’s pivotal Phase 3 trial in congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia, which is underway in the US and Europe, as well as preparations for a US Biologics License Application.
Founded in 2013, Novadip develops regenerative tissue therapies using its 3M³ technology platform. Denis Dufrane, MD, PhD, is the company’s co-founder and CEO. Its work focuses on therapies for bone and tissue reconstruction, including conditions where patients have limited treatment options.
Completion of the €10.4 million financing also enables Novadip to access an additional tranche under its €18 million venture debt agreement with the European Investment Bank. The EIB financing agreement was signed in 2023 with support from the European Union’s InvestEU programme.
