German energy technology company Rabot Energy has secured €50 million in Series B funding led by Endeit Capital, with DTCF and existing investors participating. The company plans to expand its smart energy platform and connect household batteries, EV chargers and heat pumps into a virtual power plant.

Hamburg-based energy technology company Rabot Energy has raised €50 million in a Series B funding round led by Endeit Capital, with participation from DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF). Existing investors HV Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures and vent.io also participated in the financing.

Founded in 2021 by Jan Rabe and Maximilian Both, Rabot Energy provides dynamic electricity tariffs and intelligent energy management solutions in Germany. The company combines renewable electricity supply with AI-based optimization to help households and businesses manage energy consumption according to electricity market prices. Its technology enables customers to shift flexible electricity use to periods when power is less expensive and renewable generation is more readily available.

The company plans to use the new capital to develop its proprietary technology platform, expand its customer base and integrate additional energy devices, including household batteries, electric vehicle chargers and heat pumps. A central objective is to connect distributed energy storage systems into a virtual power plant that can coordinate electricity consumption and storage across multiple households.

In June 2026, Rabot Energy introduced Rabot Flow, an integrated offering that combines a dynamic electricity tariff, a smart meter and a plug-and-play home battery. The solution allows households, including those without rooftop solar installations, to store electricity when prices are lower and use it when needed.

Rabot Energy reports serving more than 200,000 customers, including approximately 15,000 commercial and industrial customers. The company has also reported €200 million in revenue and more than 600 million kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity supplied. It aims to expand its customer base to one million as it develops its connected energy platform.

The Series B follows a €17.5 million Series A round announced in January 2024, led by HV Capital with participation from All Iron Ventures, 9900 Capital and existing investors. The latest financing will support Rabot Energy’s expansion of its dynamic electricity services and distributed energy management infrastructure in Germany.
