Milan-based SimpL has raised €1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Techshop Capital, with participation from Vento and a group of business angels. Techshop Capital and Vento both disclosed their involvement in the financing.

Founded by Nicolò Fugallo, Raffaele Scarano and Luca Marco Agnoli, SimpL develops software for B2B sales teams. Its platform analyzes public signals, including job postings, company websites and news, and organizes the information in a proprietary knowledge graph connecting companies, people and interactions. Deep learning models are used to help determine which companies and decision-makers to approach, when to contact them and how to structure outreach.

The platform is designed to work with sales teams through the prospecting and outreach process, including identifying potential accounts and progressing conversations toward qualified meetings. SimpL plans to use the new capital for product development, further technology development and team expansion.
