Symmetric Health Solutions, a healthcare supply chain intelligence company, has secured a strategic growth investment from Spectrum Equity. The transaction represents Symmetric’s first institutional capital, with the size of the investment not disclosed.

Founded in 2018 by Rich Kucera, TJ Dardet, Jon Boerner and Ryan Kissell, Symmetric develops data infrastructure for hospitals and health systems. Its platform cleans, standardizes and enriches healthcare supply chain data, helping organizations manage item masters, product information, contracts and procurement workflows.

Symmetric’s database covers nearly 20 million healthcare items, with up to 1,800 metadata attributes per item and five million verified substitutes. Its data pipeline draws on sources including regulatory registries, manufacturer catalogs and group purchasing organization contracts, reconciling product information before delivering it into hospital systems.

The company plans to use the investment to expand its go-to-market and customer success operations and develop its product portfolio. Planned areas include its Contract Management product, a supply chain control tower, revenue integrity tools, value analysis capabilities and a supplier portal.
