Yazen has secured €50 million to expand its digital obesity care model across Europe. Verdane led the funding round, with Evli Growth Partners participating.

Swedish digital healthcare provider Yazen has raised €50 million in a funding round led by European growth investor Verdane, with participation from existing investor Evli Growth Partners. The financing was announced on October 8, 2026.

Founded in Sweden in 2021 by Fredrik Meurling, Magnus Nyhlén, Martin Carlsson and Otto Bretz, Yazen provides digital medical care for people living with obesity. Its treatment model combines weight-loss medication with continuous support from a multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes doctors, health coaches, dietitians, psychologists and physiotherapists.

Yazen currently operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Spain. The company says more than 50,000 patients are actively receiving treatment through its platform, with more than 70,000 patients treated in total.

The new capital will support further expansion of Yazen’s care model across Europe, including entry into additional European markets and a broader treatment offering across cardiometabolic care.

Yazen previously raised €19.5 million in a Series A round announced in November 2024. That round was co-led by Evli Growth Partners and Helsana HealthInvest, with participation from Almaz Capital, Yabeo, Luminar Ventures and Aggregate Media.
