London-based Circuit Mind, a developer of AI-powered electronics design software, announced $25 million in financing, including an $18.5 million Series A round led by Norwest and a previously undisclosed seed round led by Third Prime.

The Series A included participation from existing investors Third Prime, Differential Ventures and Blackhorn Ventures, alongside new investor Lightscape VC. The financing brought Circuit Mind’s total funding to $33.4 million.

Founded in 2018 by Tomide Adesanmi and Basilio Gentile, Circuit Mind develops software that helps electronics engineering teams automate circuit design, verification and optimization. Adesanmi serves as CEO, while Gentile is the company’s CTO.

Circuit Mind’s platform combines agentic AI, physics-based engineering models and structured component data to support electronic design workflows. It integrates with existing electronic computer-aided design (ECAD) tools and incorporates customers’ engineering requirements, component preferences and design rules.

The platform includes ACE, which generates circuit schematics, bills of materials and supporting engineering analyses from hardware architecture requirements. Engineers can evaluate different design configurations based on factors such as cost, size, power consumption and component availability.

Circuit Mind also introduced AVE (Agentic Verification Engine) on October 28, 2026. The application uses AI agents to examine circuit schematics against component datasheets and internal engineering rules, helping teams identify potential design issues before manufacturing.

As part of the Series A investment, Dave Zilberman, General Partner at Norwest, will join Circuit Mind’s board of directors.

Circuit Mind plans to use the funding to expand its platform across additional stages of the electronics design lifecycle, strengthen its sales, engineering and customer success teams, and establish a US headquarters to support its North American operations.
