Barcelona-based FitnessKPI has secured €1.3 million from Encomenda Capital, Angels Capital and existing investors to support US expansion and further development of its AI-powered fitness management software.

FitnessKPI, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of business intelligence and AI software for fitness operators, has raised €1.3 million in a funding round co-led by Encomenda Capital and Angels Capital.

Encomenda participated through its Encomenda Seed II fund. The round also included contributions from all of FitnessKPI’s existing investors.

The company plans to use the funding to accelerate its commercial expansion in the United States and develop additional artificial intelligence capabilities for its platform.

FitnessKPI was co-founded by Pablo Viñaspre, who serves as CEO, and Isabel Vega, who oversees partnerships. The company develops software that consolidates operational, commercial and customer data from fitness clubs and gym chains, enabling operators to monitor performance and manage their businesses through a centralised system.

Its platform includes ANNA, an AI assistant designed specifically for fitness management. ANNA analyses club performance and historical operating data to identify potential problems, assess business priorities and recommend or automate operational actions.

According to FitnessKPI, its platform supports more than 1,500 clubs across over 26 countries. The company also provides benchmarking, member retention analytics and customer relationship management tools.

FitnessKPI previously secured €1 million in a funding round led by Angels Capital in 2024. The investment supported the company’s development as it expanded its software offering and international presence.

The latest financing will support FitnessKPI’s efforts to expand its presence in the US fitness market while continuing to develop AI-based tools for gym and fitness chain management.
