Sava Trust Company, a New York City-based fintech company focused on trust administration, has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Gradient Ventures. The financing included participation from Y Combinator, SV Angel, Instacart co-founder Max Mullen, Orange Collective and SurgePoint Capital, alongside individual investors Tomer London, co-founder of Gusto, and Eleonora Sharef, former Head of Private Wealth at McKinsey.
Founded in 2025 by Nimit Maru and Rush Sadiwala, Sava develops AI-powered software infrastructure for the US trust and estate industry. The company combines technology with regulated fiduciary services to support families, financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, tax professionals and trust officers. Maru serves as CEO, while Sadiwala serves as COO.
Alongside the funding announcement, Sava emerged from stealth and launched Sava Trust Company, an independent corporate fiduciary chartered in Nevada. The subsidiary provides administrative trustee services, including compliance oversight, reporting and trust distributions, while allowing clients to maintain relationships with their existing attorneys and financial advisors.
Sava’s technology supports trust onboarding, document processing, compliance checks, accounting and coordination with financial custodians. AI agents assist with administrative workflows, while human trust officers review their work and retain responsibility for fiduciary decisions. The platform also provides clients and their professional advisors with visibility into trust formation, funding and ongoing administration.
The company offers a flat annual fee per trust and is developing API infrastructure that would allow fintech companies and financial platforms to integrate trust-related capabilities into their services.
Sava plans to use the new funding to develop its technology and operational infrastructure, improve trust administration processes and make estate planning services accessible to a broader range of clients.
