Xona Space Systems branding for its Pulsar satellite navigation network.
Satellite navigation company Xona has secured $250 million in Series D financing led by Future Ventures, bringing its valuation to $2.45 billion. The funding will support satellite manufacturing, constellation deployment and commercial service development.

Xona, a US-based satellite navigation technology company, has raised $250 million in a Series D funding round led by Future Ventures, with participation from additional new and existing investors. The financing values the company at $2.45 billion and brings its total capital raised to more than $570 million.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Burlingame, California, Xona is led by co-founder and CEO Brian Manning. The company develops satellite-based positioning, navigation and timing infrastructure designed to improve the accuracy and reliability of existing navigation systems.

Its flagship service, Pulsar, uses a constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to transmit navigation signals to compatible receivers. The system is designed to provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy, stronger signals and improved resistance to interference, including jamming and spoofing. Its potential applications include autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, precision agriculture and critical infrastructure.

Xona plans to use the new funding to expand satellite manufacturing, accelerate constellation deployment and establish the infrastructure required to deliver its commercial navigation service.

The announcement followed the launch of six additional Pulsar satellites in October 2026, marking the beginning of deployment of the company’s commercial navigation network. According to Xona, four of those satellites are expected to begin serving customers in 2027, while the other two were designed and manufactured at its facility in Burlingame.

The company also reported completing more than 500 satellite transmissions and demonstrating positioning accuracy better than two centimeters during its technology testing.

The Series D follows Xona’s $170 million Series C round announced in March 2026, which was led by Mohari Ventures Natural Capital. That financing supported the development of its Pulsar constellation and the expansion of satellite production capabilities.

With the latest funding, Xona is continuing its transition from technology demonstrations toward commercial service delivery and the development of a larger satellite navigation network.
