Aatmunn, a US-based industrial intelligence software company, has secured a growth investment of up to $8 million from Memento Growth Partners (MGP), with participation from existing investors. The funding, announced on October 13, 2026, will support the company’s commercial expansion and further development of its SPANR platform.
Founded in 2014 as Guardhat, the Michigan-based company rebranded as Aatmunn in 2023. It is led by Co-Founder and CEO Praveer Kumar and develops software that connects industrial equipment, workers and operational systems to improve workplace safety and decision-making.
Its SPANR platform integrates data from devices manufactured by different companies into a unified system. The software standardizes information from connected equipment and applies AI-powered analysis to support real-time monitoring, alerts and operational decisions.
The platform addresses industrial applications including worker safety, hazardous gas detection, asset tracking and workplace inspections. It also enables equipment manufacturers to integrate SPANR into their products through a white-label software offering.
According to Aatmunn, SPANR is used by more than 300 enterprises across the United States, Canada and Europe. The company says its SOC 2 Type II-audited platform supports safety operations covering more than 80,000 workers.
The new investment will be directed toward expanding Aatmunn’s sales and marketing operations and accelerating research and development, particularly the integration of additional AI capabilities into SPANR. The company serves industrial customers across sectors including energy, aerospace, logistics, construction and advanced manufacturing.
Before its rebranding, Guardhat raised $20 million in a Series A financing round in September 2018, led by RTP Ventures, with participation from 3M Ventures, Caterpillar Venture Capital and other investors.
