Circuits Integrated Hellas (CIH), an Athens-based semiconductor company developing technologies for satellite communications, secured an undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding from Evercurious VC. The investment closed in July 2026 and was announced in September.
Founded in 2018 by Paolo Fioravanti and Ioannis “Giannis” Kontogiannopoulos, CIH develops RF and millimeter-wave semiconductor technologies for telecommunications and satellite communications. Fioravanti serves as CEO, while Kontogiannopoulos is CTO.
The company plans to use the funding to support commercialization of CI-ONE, its first semiconductor product family. CI-ONE combines a Ka-band power amplifier and single-pole double-throw RF switch in a compact surface-mount module, replacing functions that are typically implemented using separate components in satellite communications systems.
CIH said the investment will also support its broader technology and product roadmap as it shifts from primarily providing semiconductor design services toward developing commercial products. The company planned general availability of CI-ONE for the fourth quarter of 2026, with early engagement and sampling programs preceding the wider release.
