Israeli consumer cybersecurity company Guardio has raised $40 million at a $1.1 billion valuation as it expands protection against AI-driven scams and online threats.

Israeli consumer cybersecurity company Guardio has raised $40 million in a funding round that values the company at $1.1 billion. The round included investment from Wiz co-founder and CEO Assaf Rappaport, alongside existing investors ION Crossover Partners, Union Tech Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, Cerca Partners and Emerge Ventures. The financing brings Guardio’s total funding to $167 million. PR Newswire

Founded in 2018 by Amos Peled, Michael Vainshtein and Daniel Sirota, Guardio develops cybersecurity products focused on protecting individual users from online threats. Peled serves as CEO, Vainshtein as CTO and Sirota as Chief Architect. TechCrunch

Guardio’s platform monitors messages, emails, calls and web activity to identify phishing, scams and other malicious activity. Its technology is designed to detect threats that can move across different devices and communication channels, rather than protecting only a specific device. PR Newswire

The company said the new capital will be used to expand and strengthen its consumer protection capabilities as AI makes phishing, impersonation and other forms of online fraud easier to produce at scale. PR Newswire

Guardio said it has reached one million paying customers and $150 million in annual recurring revenue after four consecutive years of revenue growth exceeding 100%. The company previously raised an $80 million Series B round led by ION Crossover Partners in November 2025.
