GUDEA, a US-based AI-powered narrative intelligence company, announced the closing of an oversubscribed $7 million seed funding round on October 9, 2026. The round was co-led by Mudita Ventures and Collide Capital.
The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, strengthen its predictive modeling capabilities, expand its engineering and go-to-market teams, and increase platform coverage across languages, regions, and digital channels.
Founded in 2023 by Keith Presley, Jonathan Sperber, and James Thomin, GUDEA develops software that helps organizations understand how online narratives emerge, spread, and influence public perception. Presley serves as CEO, Sperber as COO, and Thomin as CTO.
The platform combines behavioral intelligence, natural language analysis, graph neural network modeling, and real-time monitoring to identify the origins of online conversations, map how information moves between users and communities, and forecast how narratives may develop.
GUDEA’s technology also analyzes audience behavior to help distinguish organic engagement from coordinated or potentially inauthentic amplification. Its products include narrative mapping, real-time alerts, influencer analysis, and reporting tools for communications, legal, government affairs, and corporate security teams.
According to the company, its platform supports Fortune 100 companies and communications firms, helping them identify emerging reputational risks and better understand activity across digital information networks.
GUDEA was also selected as a finalist in the 2026 SXSW Pitch competition and received a nomination in the Experimental & Innovation category at the 2026 Webby Awards for its Internet Storm Tracker technology.
